## The Problem

Many app projects stall between the idea and a version real users can try. The scope keeps growing, or the first build can't be changed without breaking something.

Taking over an app someone else started is its own problem: no documentation, half-finished features and nobody left to ask.

## What I Do

I start with the smallest version that does the job for real users, agree it with you, and build that first.

I pick the stack for the job: Laravel or Node.js for the back end, Next.js for the web, React Native with Expo for iOS and Android, and Supabase or Firebase when a managed back end saves time.

I use AI-assisted development to move faster on routine work, and review what ships myself.

## Deliverables

- A written scope for the first version.
- The app, in a repository you own.
- Staging and production deployments.
- App store submission, when the project includes mobile.
- Handover notes covering setup, deployment and what to build next.

## Questions

### Can you take over an app someone else built?

Yes. I start by reading the code and getting it running, then tell you what's solid, what's risky and what I'd fix first, before quoting further work.

### Should we build a web app, a mobile app, or both?

It depends on where your users are. A web app is faster to ship and update. A React Native app shares most of its code between iOS and Android. Many projects start on the web and add mobile once the idea is proven.

### Who owns the code?

You do. The code lives in a repository under your account, and hosting and app store accounts are in your name.

### Do you use AI to write code?

Yes, as a tool. It speeds up routine work like boilerplate and tests. Design decisions, security and review stay with me.

### Do you also work on Shopify and WordPress?

Yes. I work on Shopify, WordPress and WooCommerce, Drupal and Laravel, so the website, the store and the app can share one developer.

### How much does an app cost?

It depends on the scope. After a short call, I send a written scope for the first version and a quote.
