AI integrations & automations

AI integrations and automations for websites, stores and apps: AI features inside your product, assistants connected to your site, and workflows that take over the tasks your team repeats.

Tools
  • MCP
  • Claude
  • Google Gemini
  • REST APIs
  • Webhooks
  • Node.js
  • PHP

The Problem

Most teams already use AI assistants, but the assistant can't see the website, store or database where the work happens, so someone copies and pastes between them.

Routine work piles up the same way: orders copied into spreadsheets, form entries retyped into a CRM, reports pulled by hand every week.

Wiring AI into live systems needs care. An assistant with full admin access, or an automation nobody can see, is a risk.

What I Do

I start by listing the tasks your team repeats and pick the ones worth automating first.

For repeated tasks, I connect the systems involved through their APIs, webhooks and scheduled jobs, with logging so you can see what ran and what failed.

For products, I build AI features into the app itself, such as the itinerary generator in Safari AI. For WordPress, I set up MCP servers so assistants like Claude can work with your content (see MCP servers for WordPress).

Deliverables

  • A short list of what to automate or connect first, and why.
  • Workflows, AI features or integrations, built and tested.
  • Separate accounts and keys with only the permissions each one needs.
  • Logs or alerts for anything that runs on its own.
  • Setup notes and a walkthrough for your team.

Related work

  • Safari AI: My own product: an AI safari itinerary builder with a full travel CRM for the operators, DMCs and agents who sell those trips.
  • Heritage Hills: Membership, email and store work for the nonprofit that protects Oklahoma City's Heritage Hills historic district, plus an MCP server so AI tools can manage the site.

Questions

What kinds of tasks can you automate?

Anything that moves data between systems on a schedule or a trigger: new orders into a spreadsheet or CRM, form entries into an email list, weekly reports, content checks. If someone does it the same way every time, it's usually a candidate.

Can you add AI features to our app or website?

Yes. I've built AI generation into a live product, Safari AI, which creates safari itineraries with Google Gemini. I'll tell you honestly where AI helps and where a plain rule does the job better.

Is it safe to connect AI to our systems?

Each integration gets its own account or key with only the access it needs, and anything that runs on its own is logged. You can switch any of it off.

Do we need to change the tools we use?

Usually not. I work through the APIs your current tools already have.

What if an automation breaks?

It shouldn't fail silently. I set up alerts so a failed run is noticed, and the handover notes explain how to restart or pause it.

How much does it cost?

It depends on what you want to automate or build. After a short call, I send a scope and a quote.

Get a quote

Every project is different, so pricing comes after I understand yours. Here's how it goes:

  1. Tell me what you need. Email me what you want built or what's broken. Links, screenshots and the platform you're on help. I reply to every enquiry within one business day.
  2. Get a scope and a quote. I reply with questions, then a written scope and a quote. Nothing starts until you agree to it.
  3. Review on staging. I build or fix on a staging copy, and you review before anything changes on your live site or app.
  4. Launch and handover. We go live together and you get handover notes. Any bug in work I delivered, reported within 30 days of launch, is fixed free. I can keep looking after it after that.
